In July of 2009, Valley Wood Products bought the building in Edinburg, Va in an effort to greatly expand its production capabilities. In addition to sawdust used for animal bedding, the company is looking to expand into wood pellets and wood shavings. The expansion efforts will be completed in 2010.

Kevin Moyer, the president and owner of the company has run this business out of his facility in Luray, Va for approximately 10 years.
